Update: Healthier Life | Success or Failure

15:47:00

I did a post around three weeks ago about 10 small changesfor a healthier life and want to do an update on it.

WHY UPDATE
It is like a commitment to you guys. I told you guys that I was going to do it and it is kind of a responsibility to let you know where I am? Did I success or not.

What I promised? How did it go? SUCCESS

Drink 1.7L room temperature water
This is pretty much a success except for one day. On that day, I was out all day long. And when I am out, I am pretty scared to drink. As finding a toilet is hard and a decent one is difficult. By the mean of decent, I mean it is clean and feel comfortable with using it which is pretty much the toilet in my house. Sigh. Umm toilet in hotel room is different.

Jog 30 minutes three times a week
Ok I tried that once and decide to change it into jog 20 minutes five times a week. For me, jog for 30 minutes is so hard. I am the kind of person that never run except someone is chasing me with a knife or gun. Or not you will never see me running. I walk quickly for 10 minutes before and after the 20 minutes jogging. And I called that 20 minutes as REAL jogging. And after I adjust the exercise time I can follow it without worrying I may fail again.

Have a fruit after dinner or in the afternoon
I did not do this every day but I pretty much have it after dinner. As I was quite busy during afternoon. I mostly have mango or orange.

FAIL

Go to bed before 11P.M. and wake up around 7A.M.
Oh god, this is no good. I have to remind myself to do this again and again. And I will keep on trying this.

Have oatmeal for breakfast
Ehhh I thought I can do it as I was having oatmeal on and off for the past two months. But I did not have much oatmeal in the past two weeks. I have to remind myself to do this too.

Reduce the spicy in my food
This is something I am still working on.

Eat two bowl of vegetable per day
If fruits count as vegetable then I pass. haha. Just kidding. This something I need to work on too.

Try not to use electronic devices before noon (this is gonna to be a challenge)
Well since I mostly get up at 8A.M. it is big failure. I did manage not to use any electronic devices before 9:30.

  3. This is a great list to follow! I usually drink 2L water every day, but sometimes I am too busy I forgot to drink more than one glass, and I start feeling dizzy and awkward. Water is so important for our overall health. Lovely post! Keep us updated!
